I am searching for my friend EMMA! She ( emma ) was a manifestation of a real friend. This is my true story, Emma was the first pupil who came to my aid when I needed it. My first day in primary school was that of confusion and utter culture shock. from chukudum primary strait to class one in the middle of the year! While the class prefect (who went by the name KIMODO) and his associates molested and pestered me to hand over all my food to them, EMMA was there to share her food with this black nigger from Sudan! Emma did not care about the fact that I knew none of her languages but instead forced it through…..All I could grasp then was the survival words like lunchi, Chakula, and of-cause Emma. When it was exam time, EMMA did not want me to fail, she did her test so fast to give me room to copy all her work. The disaster was when I did not differentiate what to copy and what not to copy from emma’s paper. When the results came out for that paper, the name EMMA appeared twice!!

Just as he was about to hit me with the butt of his Gun, I picked up my shoes from my feet and run as fast as my feeble legs could carry me, knowing very well that FEAR was the only courage left in me.
